A great start to the outdoor season for the Team and shop at round 1 of the Iconic Cup held at the epic Mendip circuit. With Rcon shells on a lot of cars, it was a good looking line up With Adam starting his M chassis title defence and Jay and Luke racing Iconic for the first time it was always going to be an interesting one. The guys did superbly well with Luke dominating every race of F1 taking TQ and the final win even though he claimed his car felt slow! Jay improved over practise and managed to take pole in the M chassis A final with Adam a very close 2nd on the grid. The final was just a brilliant race. Both guys raced hard with positions changing all the time. A small mistake saw Adam sadly damage his car. A very rare event, but he still bought it home in 6th. Jay was pipped by the 3rd place man Ian in the end to finish 2nd. A good start to the season. The guys raced well and we are proud of you all. We also learned Luke never thinks his car is fast enough even when lapping the field.But can not only make a decent cuppa, but also bacon sarnies in the morning. Roll on Carlise.
