Working the August Shift!

August is normally a slightly quieter month for us here at RaceCraft R/C. Lots of people are away on holiday and there is only one or two outside events and local clubs shut the doors for a week or two.

2020! What can we say other than what a crazy time it is. There is a bit more going on than expected due to the Covid issue and we appreciate you continued support at this time.

Some local clubs are starting to run again, so we are out with the trackside shop every Friday again, and there is a one off Iconic Cup special August bank holiday weekend. We will again be attending with the trackside shop and hopefully doing a bit of racing.

The big news for August has to be th arrival of the Tamiya TC-01 4wd Formula E car. Due approx 22nd this is going to be very very popular. Hop ups are already on the way to us along with kits. This is and all new design with inboard shocks and some very clever features. Ohh then there is that body-WOW!!

August already has and will also see us busy with multiple deliveries from Tamiya, Schumacher, CML, Kyosho and others.

We are already receiving restocks of many of the classic Tamiya kits and spares, with more inbound every day. It is fair to say the team are working very very hard at the moment with both online and in person customers.

We do have to say it is great to be back open again! We are running slightly reduced hours on a Saturday to give us a bit of time off, but other wise back to normal.Though obviously observe social distancing requirements if coming into the shop. Please wear a mask and use the hand gels etc provided. The team are regularly cleaning to keep it all safe and us open.

Some very welcome news is we expect a fresh batch of Rcon bodies to start arriving from mid month. Restrictions on the guys overseas moving to and from the factory have sadly stopped production during Covid. But we are delighted to say that all is starting to move again. First in will be the massively popular 1275GT mini, followed hopefully soon after by the rest of the range. We already have some Siren, Polo R4 and GuGu vans in stock.

You may have already noticed as well that we have been moving some vintage spares over from the Ebay shop onto the website. You will now find Tamiya F1 spares, TRF parts and M chassis parts on the website. It is still worth having a look on the Ebay shop for vintage parts, as there is still alot on there, but over time we will be moving the majority of them over to www.racecraftrc.co.uk

As usual, if there is something you are looking for you can't find, please feel free to send a message. We currently have two pallets of vintage parts to go through and list from many manufacturers. Current/new car parts will only be on the website form now on.

Before we know it we will be into September with the massive Revival event the first weekend of the month. We will be there with the shop and maybe some event specials to temp you. We might even have a race or three. The main shop will be closed from the Thursday lunchtime until the following Monday that weekend.

Hopefully we will see a few of you there.
